About Us
Queerswap is a volunteer-led LGBTQIA+ charity founded by Nyx and Sierra in 2022. What began as a small community project has grown into a team of five board members supported by over 100 volunteers. Together, we create welcoming, practical spaces for connection, creativity, and mutual care.

Our community is special. Let’s nurture it.
Our Mission
Our mission is to make creativity, resources, and community more accessible to LGBTQIA+ people. Through clothing and book swaps, creative workshops, and shared spaces, we work to reduce waste, remove financial barriers, and increase access to skills and materials. We are committed to building inclusive, low-cost environments where people can learn, make, and connect in ways that feel supportive, empowering, and rooted in community care.
Our Vision
Our vision is a future where LGBTQIA+ communities have consistent access to the space, tools, and support they need to thrive. We imagine a world rooted in sustainability, skill-sharing, and collective care, where creativity is accessible to everyone and communities are resourced to support one another. By growing our spaces and networks, we aim to build lasting, community-led infrastructure that fosters belonging, resilience, and joy.
